The Horrible Dots series of collages are cut and paste collages using historical photos of horrific scenes. The idea is to have the viewer see something unpleasant through a pleasant form. The circles placed in an ordered grid is something that can be easily understood and visually pleasing, but on closer inspection part or all of the subject of the photo becomes clear which adds an unpleasantness or repulsion to the experience while still looking at the pleasing form.

When I have down time or need a break from projects I'm working on I like to do quick illustrations. It's a nice change of pace from what I'm usually working on and it's something fun to share on Instagram. Here are some of my favorites.
A series of mismatched random colleges, both handmade, digital, or a combination of the two that I have made for various projects though the years that I still enjoy looking at.
